CROSSING THE BORDER OF STAINLESS STEEL FENDERS WITH PVC BASE
SPHAERA is the revolutionary STAINLESS STEEL 316 L fender profile co-extruded with rigid and shockproof vinyl chloride. Thanks to its different PVC finishing and support bases, meet the unexpected requirement of boatbuilding industry. Tessilmare patented.
THE COMPOUND
The two materials SPHAERA is made of, compensate their mechanic features: HARDNESS and ELASTICTY match with ECOMIMY and LIGHTNESS.
LIGHTNESS
SPHAERA is 2,5 times lighter than the corresponding full half-round profile. Every spared kg over waterline means better perfomance and stability for the boat.
MOUNTING SPEED
SPHAERA does not require pre-pressings on the bends of the hull. The PVC core avoids bucklings bending the bar directly on the hull. A damaged section can be easily and quickly replaced.
PRESTIGE RESULT
The lightness and the ductility of this profile ensure a very elegant result.
