Battery for inboard service already charged and ready for use. These batteries are equipped with plates of bigger thickness that make them resistant to charge-discharge cycles. The hermetic AGM battery has gained more and more approvals for its capacity of tolerating temporary electricity peaks. Absolutely without gas leaks, it is perfectly in compliance with the current rules.
It is the right choice to be used with uninterruptible power supply thanks to its capacity of tolerating temporary electricity peaks and gas or acids leaks absence. This battery is suggested for an independent safety line for navigation systems handling. Particularly recommended for boating, camper, computer, electronic devices, alarm and emergency systems and for all devices running out of ingnition battery lines.
AGM batteries are:
• without maintenance;
• no risk for accidental acid leaks;
• resistant to thermal variations and intense vibrations;
• resistant to temporary electricity peaks;
• ideal in case of charge-discharge cycles;
• suitable to be installed near persons and electronic devices.
For charge use electronic battery chargers (f.i. our SBC ADVANCED PLUS) setting up the function for agm and gel battery recharge.
Like all lead batteries, it has not to be discharged beyond the 80% of its capacity, thus avoiding the destruction of the battery itself. It means that the battery tension has not to decrease under 10,50 Volts. Moreover is it important to keep the battery charged at 100%, recharging it periodically if not used.
